Sagging Skin

Loose and sagging skin, also known as laxity, can occur on the face and body. The deterioration or reduction of collagen and elastin contribute to sagging skin. This can be attributed to weight loss, medical conditions, aging, sun exposure, lifestyle, genetics and more. On the face, laxity of the skin can exaggerate nasal labial folds, joules, and the softening of the jawline. On the body, laxity typically occurs on the buttocks, abdomen and on the upper arms.
