The Early Years

Being born in Vancouver to an immigrant household, she had to navigate through many cultural challenges early on in life. This adversity she faced fueled her academic drive which led her to the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Bachelor of Medical Science degree in 2005.

Following graduation, she was accepted into the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she successfully completed her licensing exams after giving birth to her son. After moving back to BC she became board certified in Naturopathic Medicine by 2010 which allowed her to not only begin her practice but also start living out her calling in life.

Dr. Kaur believes the knowledge and wisdom of a Naturopathic Doctor only truly begins when practice does. It was then that she decided to take on additional certifications to fill the toolbox of treatment options for her patients. In building this she sought out additional training and became certified through the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC in IV/Parenteral therapy, Acupuncture, Regenerative Medicine / Prolotherapy / Orthopedic PRP, Botulinum Toxin injections / Hyaluronic Acid fillers, PRP Aesthetic procedures and obtained her Pharmaceutical Prescribing authority.

On her own time, she has done a lot of self-development through courses and training modules. She has competed provincially and nationally in weightlifting and was able to represent Canada in masters weightlifting in Barcelona in 2018. She also served as a clinical Supervisor for the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and has been running the satellite clinic at Katzie First Nations where fourth year Naturopathic Students receive clinical education under her license and supervision. Dr. Kaur loves to be a part of an empowering, strong, community of humans and looks forward to offering her range of Naturopathic & Aesthetic services with all patients and clients of Quartz Mind Body + Skin Clinic.
