Neural Prolotherapy
What It Does
Neural prolotherapy does not target tendons, ligaments or joints, but instead treats nerves and muscles associated with areas of pain. Other treatments such as PRP, acupuncture, trigger point injections, and biological and nutritional therapies are also used as required. Each patient is unique and the best treatment should be used at each stage of the healing process.
What to Expect
After Treatment
After seeing dramatic results many people wonder how after only a few treatments it can cause such a significant and often immediate decline in pain.

Prolotherapy
What It Does
At Quartz our Prolotherapy treatment protocols vary with each patient based on their individual needs, immune status and severity of injury. Prolotherapy is an alternative nonsurgical regenerative injection therapy that may help repair body tissues. The injection therapy is used to stimulate healing of injured tendons, ligaments and joints.
How It Works
Optimal nutrition, supplementation, stress management, adequate sleep, and physical health are all factors that influence healing. Our Naturopathic Doctor will help guide you through this process to optimise your response to prolotherapy. Your doctor may include testing methods to evaluate whether you are a good candidate for prolotherapy. You may be required to do a series of regenerative IV Drips to prepare for a successful treatment.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture & Cupping
What It Does
At Quartz, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) bridges the gap between ancient techniques and modern science to provide holistic treatment plans. Traditional Chinese Medicine can treat a variety of health concerns, alone or in combination with complementary medical treatments.
How It Works
At Quartz, our Naturopathic Doctors use acupuncture to address full body balancing, acute or chronic conditions, fertility, cosmetic acupuncture, mental health, and digestive symptoms.
Cupping can be used as a standalone fascial massage treatment, but it can also be combined with acupuncture in one treatment. The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and calm the nervous system.
