Pre Treatment
To ensure a comfortable treatment, please discontinue the use of active exfoliating products like retinols or acids 3 to 5 days prior to your appointment. Avoid unprotected sun exposure for a week beforehand, and ensure any cosmetic injectables were completed at least 2 weeks before your visit. If you have an active, inflamed acne breakout on the day of your service, we will safely adjust the treatment to work around those sensitive areas.
Post Treatment
There is no downtime after dermaplaning, but your fresh skin cells will be highly receptive to products and sensitive to the sun. Stick to a gentle, hydrating skincare routine for the first 24 to 48 hours, avoiding harsh scrubs or active acids. Most importantly, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily to protect your newly revealed, glowing complexion.
